Krimpenerwaard
The Krimpenerwaard is an area that is enclosed by the Hollandse IJssel, the Lek and the Vlist. There are several polders in the area. To the east lies the Lopikerwaard, to the west the Zuidplaspolder. Villages and towns in the Krimpenerwaard are Krimpen aan den IJssel, Schoonhoven, Bergambacht, Stolwijk, Ammerstol, Haastrecht, Berkenwoude, Lekkerkerk, Krimpen aan de Lek, Vlist, Gouderak and Ouderkerk aan den IJssel.
