Hoeksche Waard

De Hoeksche Waard, also known as Hoekse Waard, is considered by many to be one of the South Holland Islands, but also as a worth. In the western part lie the Beijerland polders, with which the western part of the Hoeksche Waard is also referred to in its entirety as Beijerland. De Hoeksche Waard has had the status of National Landscape since 2005.
